Abstract
Background There are an estimated 605 million adults over the age of 60 in the world. In 2050, the world will have two billion older adults, with 80% of them living in developing nations. Elderly people may require long-term psychosocial treatment, nursing care, or hospitalization for a variety of health issues Aim. The aim of the study was to assess the Knowledge and Attitude of Nurses toward caring of Elderly Patients Methodology. A descriptive crosssectional research study design was used. Study used purposive sampling technique. Results. The study reported that the knowledge participants with low knowledge were 68 (47.9%), The attitude of the participants with positive attitude were 90(63.4%). Conclusion: The study concluded that the majority of nurses having moderate knowledge, positive attitude towards caring of elderly patients.
