Abstract

This study highlights the significant occupational risks faced by operating room (OR) nurses and technicians. Participant statements suggest a high- stress environment within the hospital, exacerbated by insufficient communication and poor teamwork. Although many participants were unaware of specific risk factors within the OR, it is evident that stress levels remain notably high. Even the most stringent precautions appear inadequate in addressing these challenges. To mitigate staff turnover and enhance workplace conditions, the hospital should implement comprehensive programs targeting occupational hazards, stress management, improved teamwork, and joint educational initiatives.
